School Tour

The first step in admissions is to invite you to join the principal for a school tour. Take the opportunity to see our wonderful school and facilities and hear about all the amazing teaching and learning that happens at the Al-Amal Academy. To book your school tour please call the school at (825) 996-5399 or email us at al-amal.academy@plrd.ab.ca.

Interview and Call for Documents

After the school tour you will receive an email or call from the Admissions Team to schedule an interview with the principal and the submission of documents such as report cards.

Confirmation of Admissions and Payment of Foundation Fees

After reviewing the application and the interview the Admissions Team will confirm your child's admissions and ask you to proceed to pay the Foundation Fees for the school year. Please use the link below to learn more about the Foundation Fees. All payments will be made at the school along with the completion of final admission forms.

Providing for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). As an inclusive school, we treat all applications equally, admitting students with a range of SEND. Admission applications from students with SEND should include as much supporting evidence as possible and will be reviewed in order to best understand how to meet the needs of the child.

Age Cutoffs:

NOTE: Any child entering Kindergarten should be 5 years old as of the 31st of December of that school year.
